Tip

Plan features like Shield and the Consent Vault follow your CRM plan, so use them from inside your CRM.

DialClear is one app that you can open two ways. Inside your CRM it opens from the left menu of a sub account. In a browser it opens at dialclear.co after you sign in. The pages look the same, but a few things change depending on where you are.

The differences at a glance

Inside your CRM Portal at dialclear.co
Getting in Open DialClear from the left menu. No sign in. Sign in with email and password, a passkey, an emailed link or Google.
Signing out Not needed. Your CRM signs you in each time you open DialClear, and the left menu has no sign out. Sign out icon at the bottom of the left menu.
Which account Fixed to the sub account you opened it from. You pick, if you belong to more than one.
Who pays for lookups Your CRM wallet A prepaid token balance, or a CRM wallet you choose on Lookups
API and Tokens in the menu Hidden Shown
Shield, Consent Vault, Compliance Shown only when your plan includes them Always shown. They open up once you subscribe on Billing.
Plan changes In the App Marketplace Subscriptions on the Billing page
Your profile View only. Your name and email come from your CRM. Edit your name, email, password, passkeys and authenticator app
Team access On the Settings page The same card on Settings while a CRM account is open

Billing

Inside your CRM

Every lookup bills the CRM wallet of the sub account. You never need a card in DialClear. The Billing page names your plan and reminds you that plans change in the App Marketplace under Installed Apps.

In the portal

A direct account pays for lookups from tokens. You add a card on Billing, buy tokens on Tokens, and can subscribe to Solo Shield ($19/mo) and the DNC Audit Pack ($29/mo). See Manage billing and subscriptions.

Important

A portal subscription and a CRM plan are separate. Subscribing to the DNC Audit Pack in the portal does not add it to your CRM sub account, and a CRM plan does not turn on features in the portal. Change a CRM plan in the App Marketplace.

The menu

Inside your CRM the menu only shows what your plan includes. In the portal you also see API and Tokens, and the Compliance pages always show. Which features are in my plan lists what each plan adds and what a page looks like before you have it.

Team access

Inside your CRM, people with the Admin role on the sub account can always open DialClear. Anyone else needs to be switched on under Team access on the Settings page. Until then they see Access is limited when they open the app. That screen still names an older place for the setting, but it is on the Settings page under Team access. People with that role can manage the same card from the portal while the CRM account is open. See Giving your team access.

Frequently asked questions

Can I open my CRM account in the portal?

Yes. Sign in at dialclear.co with the same email your CRM user has. The easiest way the first time is Email me a sign-in link. If you belong to the account, it is listed in the account switcher at the top of the left menu. See Switch between accounts.

Why is the Tokens page missing?

You are inside your CRM. A CRM account pays from its wallet, so it has no token balance and the page is hidden.

Why can I not change my name inside my CRM?

Inside your CRM your name and email come from your CRM user. Change them in your CRM and they carry over.

Plan features work inside your CRM. Open DialClear from your CRM's left menu to use them.
